Boys gave a really good account of themselves today. For 55 of the 70 mins we went toe to toe, with no subs and players moved about to accommodate. Just lost legs and a little bit of urgency/fight in the last 1/4 of the game.

2 goals from Jack, first one a very good goal and 2nd currently goal of the season (and maybe any season!!) Some great last ditch defending to prevent a tap in from Archie and Wilf first half and a couple of extremely good saves from Reave. It was actually a game of very high quality goals!

Lots of notable performances today, in fact EVERYONE deserves a mention. But it’s a joint man (men) of the match for Jack for the goals and general Roy of the Rovers performance and Sam, who played his first game back after turning up to train for the past couple of months to get back up to speed. Played in a position he hasn’t for us before too, slotting in at centre back.
